Menaka Kanai Shishu Vidyamandir (“the School”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through this website and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

Through the Admission Inquiry form, we collect:

• Child's name and date of birth
• Class applied for
• Parent/guardian's name, phone number, and email address (if provided)
• Any message you choose to include

If you log in to the parent, staff, or admin portal, we also store your login (email/phone) and a securely hashed password — we never store your actual password in readable form.

When you pay fees online, payment details (card, UPI, net-banking) are entered directly with our payment gateway partner and are never seen or stored by the School's own systems — we only receive confirmation that a payment was made.

2. How We Use This Information

Information submitted through this website is used only to process admission inquiries, contact parents/guardians, and manage day-to-day school administration (attendance, academics, fees, and communication) for enrolled students. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

3. Who Can See Your Information

Student and parent information is visible only to School staff and admin accounts who need it to do their work, and to the parent/guardian linked to that student. Teachers see information for the classes/subjects they teach; a class teacher sees their full section.

4. Data Retention

Admission inquiries that do not proceed to admission may be retained for a reasonable period for record-keeping, then removed. Records for enrolled students are retained as required for school administration and applicable record-keeping norms.

5. Your Rights

You may ask the School office to correct or remove personal information you have submitted, subject to any records we are required to keep.
